            Moving the Classroom Outdoors.

We're taking school to the farm!

Mondays mornings have never looked so good! This fall, our 10-week childcare program will cover the "Living Off the Land" unit study - allowing students to learn core subjects together in the beauty of the outdoors! Classes will take place on our farm, surrounded by animals and nature. The first hour is dedicated to hands-on lessons teaching real-time living off the land skills, such as grinding wheat, making soap. and planting a garden. Next, students work in their student notebooks. We end the class spending time with the farm animals, visiting with the bunnies, goats, pigs, and more! Finally, we finish off each session with lunch together on the field! It's a beautiful morning of schooling, learning, encouraging, and friendship-building! Parents are always on-site.
